What is a Portal?
If a web site were the shop, a Portal would be the shopping mall. Portals provide the means of viewing information and services from multiple providers in a single place and organizing that content in a way that suits the user.
What Public Access Points Are There?
There are thirty access points, known as kiosks, located around the Torfaen Borough. These kiosks are effectively personal computers that can access Webster.uk.net via the Internet, which are housed inside purpose built display cases that offer more durability and security than a regular computer. The kiosks will allow usage of all content on Webster.uk.net free of charge. Visit the Webster Kiosk domain for more information.
