Torfaen Single Children and Young People's Plan
What is the Torfaen Children and Young People's Single Plan?
The Welsh Assembly Government wants the Torfaen Children and Young People's Partnership (TCYPP) to produce a plan. This plan is called the Torfaen Children and Young People's Single Plan 2008-11|. It will be used for the next 3 years to make sure they are making the lives of children and young people living in Torfaen better. The TCYPP is made up of professionals from different organisations who have put together the draft plan.
How have they written the Plan?
-
They have looked at what services there are for children and young people
-
They have found out lots of statistics about children and young people
-
Over the last 3 years they have asked children and young people what they think
-
They have put all this into one document and called it the 'Single Children and Young People's Plan'
-
They have set 7 priorities that they want to achieve for children and young people over the next 3 years.
What will happen next?
The consultation period has now finished and all the responses will be looked at. Thank you to everyone who took the time to send in their comments. The plan will then be changed where necessary and the final version will be published by 30th September 2008. Every year they will look at what has been done and what more they need to do.
