A teenager has been given a chance to check up on the work of one of Wales' leading charities.
Cwmbran's Ryan Tinsley, 15, was one of six children picked to conduct an inspection of Save the Children's Participation Unit. The charity, which helps vulnerable kids across the country, hope it can be more accoutable to young people.
The kids visited Save the Children's Participation Unit in Cardiff to interview staff before giving their recommendations. All six took part in a residential course in Bridgend to prepare them for the audit, which took place on December 8th and 9th. Ryan, who attends Llantarnam Comprehensive School and is a member of the Local Youth Forum, said he found the experience very rewarding.
