What would you change in Torfaen?

1. Safer Places to go

2. Transport

3. Bike Tracks

5. Ice Skating

8. Late Night Shopping in Cwmbran

9. Better advertising of available activities

SAFER PLACES TO GO - What can we do about it?

What needs to change?

· Unsafe places outside on the streets

· Amount of litter

· Driving habits

· Taking druggies off the streets

 

How?

· Police patrolling the streets day and night

· CCTV

· Pick up litter

· Neighbourhood watch

· Higher fine for dropping litter

· Making them pick up all their own litter.

· More bins

· More speed bumps

· More LEDs display signs (flashing speed limit signs)

 

Who should be responsible?

· Police

· Council

· People (everyone)

 

TRANSPORT - What needs to change?

· Ticket price

· Better small buses

· Drivers need a personality

· Electric timetables at stops

· Passengers behaviour

 

How?

· Lower prices

· New buses

· New drivers / happy courses

· All stops should have electric time displays

· Bus shelters with seats (more shelters)

· Lower steps for disabled (ramps aswell)

· Safer buses

· Buses on time

· Wait for people to sit down before driving away.

· Radios in buses

· Cleaner buses

· Stagecoach

· Torfaen Council

· Gordon Brown

· Bus Drivers

 

Torfaen Youth Forum provides young people with the opportunity to get their view heard.
