TRANSPORT - What can we do about it?
What needs to change?
• Prices
• School transport for everyone
• Reliability
• Disability access
• Happier bus drivers
• Bus driver no smoking
• Bus driver not on the phone
• Cleaner
• Magazines
• Timetables
• Respect from bus drivers
• Stop at every bus stop
• Youth tariff
• Unfair with bus pass
How?
• Warn bus drivers, threaten with getting fired
• Make sure drivers stop for 5 mins at each stop (would take ages to get home)
• Someone clean the busses at the end of the day
• Bus drivers more aware
• Suggestion box on bus
• Easy read timetables
• Age prices
• Make sure busses have change
• All in school should have free bus pass
• Some parents cant afford

YOBS - What needs to change?
• Graffiti, wrecking buildings, litter bins, violence, theft
• Threatening behaviour, vulgar language, “hanging around”, hidden identities (e.g. hoodies)
• Smoking kills
How?
• More active police
• CCTV in shops
• More Powers to CPSO’s
• More CPSO’s
• Security guards
• Just because we are teenagers doesn’t mean we are all yobs (we should be respected)
• If we are respected more we will respect shops
• Schools should improve behaviour
• Workshops should take place to stop stereotyping
Who should be responsible?
• Local council
• Police
• Shopkeepers

• Yobs if they have done something wrong

BINGE DRINKING - What needs to change?
• Proper age control on local shops
• More police on streets (youth liaison officers)
• School workshops, possibly given by people who have witnessed or experienced the problem.
• ID everyone
• No drinking in public places
• No drinking in parks or on the streets
How?
• An increase on the first three points
• More community support about
• CCTV
• Parents involved if caught
Who should be responsible?
• Parents shouldn’t supply the drink
• Society for the binge drinking culture, lack of facilities for young people.
• Individuals and peer pressure
• Shop keepers
We should have somewhere in Torfaen or school to go to put all our ideas and thoughts across so that we won’t get embarrassed and people don’t have to come in.
