1. More Police

(specific to Fairwater High School:
• No supply teachers for sixth form
• More extra-curricular activities
• Separate common room for football academy)

 

Policing - What can we do about it?
What needs to change?
• More police patrolling the streets
• Checking hot spots where thugs hang out (e.g. steps by Fairwater Leisure Centre and pantry, Blenheim shops and Fairwater Junior school)
• Police need to gain more respect of children and adults.

 

How?
• Less paperwork, more patrolling
• Come into school more so pupils recognise and become familiar with the police and will be able to speak to them

Litter - What needs to change?
• Less of it
• More bins
• More fines
• Better transport for litter (covers for litter vans)

• More community service for criminals
