I am so worried that I will not have any friends in my class next year. I get really upset sometimes and I can't talk to my family because they won't understand me. Please help.
You don't say whether you have friends at the moment. If so, why are you worried about losing them? The thing is, as we go through life we tend to change our friends several times your best friend at the moment may not be your best friend in a few years time. Believe it or not, adults worry about losing friends too! Are you really sure that there is no-one in your family who will help you? If you can't speak to your parents, then try gran as they're always good for some advice and sympathy! There really is no reason why you should lose friends perhaps they're as worried as you are about losing you! If your friends won't be in your new class then now's the time to start getting to know some of the people who will be introduce them to your current friends and hopefully you'll soon all be friendly and the change won't seem so bad. I know it's scary, but you can do it!
I have two best friends but we keep arguing, sometimes they go off without me and sometimes I go off with one of them and leave our other friend out. This makes me unhappy so why do we keep doing this?
Well, they say that three's a crowd but it doesn't have to be true! What sort of things do you argue about? If you always get back together again, then the rows can't be that bad. Just because you argue doesn't mean that the friendship isn't good. If you're unhappy when you fall out, then the others probably are as well how about chatting about it next time you're together, trying to agree not to fall out, or even agree that sometimes one of you will want to be with one person, sometimes another person. It doesn't mean that you don't like the third person, or that the other two don't like you. See the previous letter we all get different things from different friends at different times but you can still be part of a bigger group.
