1st Panteg (St Marys) Scout Group
Scouting in Panteg has existed since well before the second World War. Leaders have obviously changed but the principles of Scouting have been consistently followed throughout its history.
It has established itself within the community of New Inn and Panteg and been a bedrock of activity and committment for tens of thousands of individuals during its existance. It will be a rare occurence for any group gathered in New Inn not to have some connection with the Scout Group.
The present group of leaders and committee members are proud to say they continue the well established practices which are associated with the Group. The updated and traditional programme of the Scouting Movement is well served by the Group.
The Group also has a close relationship with the District and St. Marys Church and takes pride in participating with others in the close and wider community.
