The ultimate shape                     healthy fun

Well woman and exercise class

Cwmavon residents and friends gather together on a Monday evening at 7.30pm to work out to the best of our ability on floor mats and on equipment. We are aiming to achieve good health and an efficient working body. We monitor our blood pressure and our weight and generally have a good but tiring time.

We do not have a qualified teacher but we all suggest exercises to try out and add them to our routine. The evening is rounded off with a cup of tea and a chat. If you would like to join us, please come along. It will cost you £2.00 per session and an extra .50p if you put on weight.

Hopefully our telephone line will be installed very soon, we have been waiting since the end of March for this to happen but BT must be inundated with work as they have cancelled 8 appointments and have failed to turn up on  7 of them. I am writing this on Saturday, July 12th and the next date they have offered is Wednesday 16th,(of this month) but there is still no sign of the 'pole' they have deemed as a necessary item in this endeavour!.

Keep your fingers crossed for the next date!

just arrived

'Short mat bowling' and 'new age kurling' equipment have now arrived and we are ready to play. I have downloaded the rules of new age kurling so all we want now are some enthusiastic people to come and try!

The monies for these items were donated by 'Sports Relief'. www.cfiw.org.uk|
