Bank Holiday Monday 6th May - What's On??

 

We have loads going on throughout the day!  Plan your visit with our timetable of events:

 

10.30 - 12.30 Cuddle Corner - get up close and personal for a cwtch with our small, cuddly animals and our new lambs!

11.00 - 13.00 Craft - get hands on and creative while Mum & Dad relax with a cuppa!

11.30 Come along and see our beautiful Goat Bluebell as the star of the show in our Milking Demonstration
12.00 Hop aboard our ever popular tractor and trailer ride

12.30 Calf feeding – come and see our beautiful new calf 'Blue' having his milk for lunch 

13:00 - Pig Washing—come and join in piggy bath time

14.00 Hop aboard our ever popular tractor and trailer ride

14.00 - 16.00 Craft - get hands on and creative while Mum & Dad relax with a cuppa!

14:30 - Pig Racing—see our Kune Kune pigs run - which one will be the fastest??

15.00 - 17.00 Cuddle Corner - get up close and personal for a cwtch with our small, cuddly animals and our new lambs!

15:00 - Donkey Grooming—come and help us preen our lovely donkeys!

16.00 Hop aboard our ever popular tractor and trailer ride

16.30 Piggy Teatime - help us feed our hungry Kune Kune pigs at the end of a busy day!

18.00 Farm Closes — Time for the animals to go to bed!

 

 

 

Half Term Saturday 25th May to Sunday 2nd June inclusive

All the fun of the Farm - activities throughout the day, staffed craft sessions, hands on animal fun and the farmhouse cafe serving delicious snacks and meals to sustain you during your visit. A wonderful day out for the whole family. We look forward to seeing you over this school holiday.

Happy Hands and Twinkley Toes

Great fun for parents and children alike we have a six week block of Happy Hands and Twinkley Toes sessions running at Greenmeadow Community Farm from 12th April. Each session begins at 11.30am and lasts for one hour. The session dates are Friday 12th April, Friday 19th April, Friday 26th April, Friday 3rd May, Friday 10th May and Friday 17th May.

 

Happy Hands and Twinkley Toes is a fun and energetic movement and music session for pre-school children accompanied by an adult. Classes are suitable for children up to four years old.

You can pre-book all six sessions for just £18 or alternatively pay £4 per session on the day. All prices refer to one adult and one child. On the day bookings are done on a first come first served basis.

Gwent Guild of Weavers, Spinners & Dyers - Events at the Farm in 2013

The majority of Gwent Guild events are free to members of the Guild with a charge to non members - why not ring for availability and learn more about a particular craft or possibly even join the Guild and benefit from all their exciting craft based events?

 

The object of the Guild is for the preservation & improvement of craftmanship in hand weaving, spinning & dyeing for the benefit of the members and the promotion of public awareness in such craftsmanship. Meetings are held at the Farm on Tuesdays, Thursdays & Saturdays from 10am.
