Webster Kiosks

Webster Kiosks

What Is A Webster Kiosk?

You can think of a kiosk being like a personal computer in that it will provide access to Webster.uk.net via the internet, but is housed inside a purpose-built display stand that offers more durability and security than a regular computer - and is solely for the use of Webster.uk.net.

What can you do at a kiosk?

You can access all of the information that is included on Webster!.

You can find out about local community groups and businesses, and services in your area. You can pay your Council tax, and if you’re a council tenant even report a housing repair.

You can also use a kiosk to send an email to your friends when you’re out and about.

Kiosk Roll OutExternal Kiosk located at the bus station, Cwmbran Shopping Centre

Public access kiosks  are located throughout Torfaen to provide access to the wealth of services and information on the portal.

We have 30 kiosks in the Borough, which are monitored to ensure that they are in diverse and accessible locations.  One of which is an external kiosk at the bus station, Cwmbran Shopping Centre (near the baked potato stall).  This unit is available all day, every day.  The other units' availability is dependent on the sites opening times and any access restrictions.

Watch this space for further news on kiosk locations.
