Get Broadband

Cable Broadband

Cable provision is limited to the Urban and suburban areas of South East and South West Wales.

Services provided by cable suppliers in Wales are similar to those that provide ADSL but prices do differ.

If you already have access to cable television or telephone then there is a very strong likelihood that you will be able to sign up to broadband with minimal fuss. All you will require is a different modem to the one you use for dial up. The cost of the modem is included in the monthly fee.

As with ADSL your telephone line is kept free eliminating the need to have a dedicated line for broadband.

  Advantages

  • Extensive coverage in cities along the M4 corridor of South Wales.
  • Connection to the service is quick and easy
  • If you have cable TV - you are highly likely to be able to get broadband

  Disadvantages

  • No opportunities to shop around as providers are limited by each franchise in a region
