Welcome to the Woodland Road Sports and Social Club website.

Your local good value club with a friendly and welcome atmosphere for all ages.  We have many beers and all types of drinks at competitive prices with a comfortable lounge area, a games room and a balcony overlooking Woodland Road Park for the sunnier days of the year, which is also a prime spot for watching your local sports teams whilst having a cool drink.

The club was formed in the mid 60’s by an affiliation of local sporting and recreational activity clubs to promote their affiliation in the local area. Its aim today, and in the future, is to continue the traditions of the founders for the people of Croesyceiliog and the local area.

The original club was a coffee bar, which then developed into a licensed club and is presently situated on the first floor of the Woodland Road Community Centre in Croesyceiliog.

The club is managed by an elected committee who meet once a month. The day to day running is carried out by the steward and his staff and a part time administrator.
