Wye Bother Canoe Club

Wye Bother Canoe Club

We are a Torfaen based club, although many of our members travel miles to kayak and canoe, depending on the availability of water! We welcome all levels of canoeists irrespective of age gender or experience, including family members.

Image of Afon Lwyd, New InnJunior canoeists receive instruction from the Blades Junior Canoe Club, based at Fairwater, Cwmbran. There is a selection of kayaks, canoes and equipment available for members to borrow, for a small fee.

We will be re-starting informal Summer taster sessions, led by qualified coaches, at Llandegfedd reservoir soon.

If you like what you see, then pay our modest annual membership and WCA insurance, (£12.50), if not a WCA member. You can then start turning up for the other trips and kayaking courses that are provided for members, including training with our lifeguard unit.

We are registered with the national governing body, (the Welsh Canoeing Association)
