Rhydyfelyn v Croesyceiliog

7 October 2005

The Cockerels visited newly promoted Rhydyfelyn on Saturday for an all important clash against a team with a similar record to Croesy having won only one league game to date. Croesy are looking for a much improved performance after a disappointing loss to Llantrisant last week.

There is just one change in the pack with flanker Paul Fisher coming in for his first start of the season in place of Paul Hicks who is on holiday. In the backs injury to Nathan Powell gives Ritchie Williams the start at scrum-half and the opportunity of a run of games with Powell likely to be out for at least a couple of weeks. Two strong performances coming off the bench have earned centre Scott Copsey a place. New signing Will Hamilton get his first chance on the wing and Gareth Roberts returns at full back after injury. Rhodri Davies, on the wing is the only back to have started every game this season.
