Llanwit Fardre V Croesyceiliog

17 December 2005

Croesy go into the final game before the Christmas break looking for a win to consolidate their mid-table position. There are one or two doubts in the backs and so the coaches have selected a squad but the forwards have been finalised. Marc Watkins passed a fitness test during a 20 minute run out for the Development Side last night and keeps his place in an unchanged front row. Lee Williams is in Australia for a month so Ritchie Gibbins moves from back row to second row. Larry Williams is fit after missing last week's game with a back injury and returns on the blind-side.

In the backs the scrum-half berth is still to be finalised between Nathan Powell and Ritchie Williams. Chris Landry continues at outside half and Matthew Entwistle returns at inside centre after being unavailable last week. Matthew Hiatt reverts to wing with the return of Gareth Roberts at full-back. The remaining centre and wing berths will be decided between David Davies, Stuart Fitzgerald and John Berrow depending on Davies' fitness.

The bench will be finalised once the starting line up is known.

All players meet 12.00. Bus leaves club-house 12.30 prompt.

Full line-up: 1. M Watkins; 2. A Axford; 3. J Smith; 4. M Smith; 5. R Gibbins; 6.C Williams; 7. B Pike; 8. S Thomas; 9. N Powell/R Williams 10. C Landry; 11. M Hiatt; 12. M Entwistle (Capt.) 13/14. D. Davies/S Fitzgerald/J Berrow; 15. G Roberts.
