Llantrisant V Croesyceiliog

11 February 2006

Croesy are looking for another big performance after an excellent win against Abercynon a fortnight ago and must go into this game with confidence despite the loss of some key players through injury and unavailability. Injury to captain Craig Saunders and the unavailability of vice-captain Matthew Entwistle means the captaincy is handed over to hooker Anthony Axford. Axford came on as a replacement against Abercynon and the only other change from the pack that started that day sees the return of Steven Thomas at number in place of Saunders.

Behind the scrum Nathan Powell reverts to scrum-half after coming on as a sub last time out; Gareth Roberts moves from full-back to outside-half in place of the unavailable Chris Landry; Stuart Fitzgerald comes back in to the centre in place of Entwistle and David Davies slots into the full-back berth.

The full team is: 1. J SMith; 2. A Axford; 3. M Watkins; 4. L Williams; 5. R Gibbins; 6. P Hicks; 7. B Pike; 8. S Thomas; 9. N Powell; 10. G Roberts; 11. M Hiatt; 12. S Fitzgerald; 13. S Copsey; 14. R Davies; 15. D Davies

Subs from: D Thomas; G Cowans; J Nash; J Sargent; R Williams

Due to the ongoing boycott of the club all players meet at Woodland Road (Coffee Bar) at 12.15.
