Croesyceiliog V Rumney

14 October 2005

Croesy welcome back influential hooker Anthony Axford from his honeymoon for this must win game. Axford takes over as captain from Matthew Entwistle who is going to second row Jim Sargent's wedding. The club also welcome back former captain Jason Lloyd who makes his first appearance of the season in the back row. Bobby Pike also returns to the back row after injury. The other back row position is still to be confirmed with both Chris Williams and Jake Nash carrying injuries. Paul Fisher stands by on the bench.

In the backs, Entwistle's unavailability means Gareth Roberts moves back to outside half from full back. Chris Landry has recovered from injury and comes into the centre with Stuart Fitzgerald moving onto the wing. David Davies comes back into the side at full back.

Another welcome return sees Ian Martin on the bench after an absence of almost a year.
