Croesyceiliog V Mountain Ash

12th November 2005

Croesy are for once in a position of stability with just two changes from the side that beat Nantymoel a fortnight ago. In the forwards Paul Hicks comes in at number 8 in place of Jason Lloyd who has done a tremendous job coming out of retirement to help out. The only change in the backs sees fit again wing Rhodri Davies back in the side for John Berrow who also came out of retirement to play in the last two games.

This means that prop Justin Smith, second row Richard Gibbins and back row Chris (Larry) Williams are still ever-present in the pack. On the bench Croesy are pleased to welcome back second rows Mark Smith (from premature retirement) and Jim Sargent (from his honeymoon). Dual contract player Steven (Biffo) Thomas is on stand-by in case of injury as is Nathan Powell.

Players are to meet at the club at 12.30. Club t-shirts to be worn before the game and No.1's afterwards.

The full side is:

1. Marc Watkins 2. Anthony Axford 3. Justin Smith 4. Richard Gibbins 5. Lee Williams 6. Chris Williams 7. Bobby Pike 8. Paul Hicks 9. Richard Williams 10. Chris Landry 11. Rhodri Davies 12. Matthew Entwistle (Capt) 13. David Davies 14. Matthew Hiatt 15.Gareth Roberts
