Croesy got their season off in disappointing fashion with a home defeat to fellow relegation side Abergavenny.  Croesy made a slow start and were down 17-3 within half an hour.  Despite dominating the rest of the game all they could manage was a Matthew Entwistle try to add to his earlier penalty.
