2007/08 Season Opener

After a summer of hard work under the guidance of the new Croesy coaching team of John Kerry, Paul Pritchard, Andrew Paraskeva, Phil Daunter and Craig Saunders the players are raring to go for the season opener at home to Abergavenny. Croesy had two warm up matches in which they stumbled to an "enthralling" 0-0 draw with Hartridge before disposing of Newport High School Old Boys,  who have replaced Croesy in Division Two East, by 19-7 and looked far more impressive.

Both Croesy and Abergavenny were relegated from Division Two East last season and begin life in Three East determined to go straight back up, so this promises to be an interesting encounter.  The two sides have had many battles over the years and this is sure to be another keenly fought match.

The game is at Woodland Road and kicks off at 2.30.
