Relegation Confirmed

Croesy put in a huge effort in the final weeks of the season to keep their place in Division Two East winning 5 of their last 7 games. This meant that they moved out of the relegation zone with their final game of the season.  But both Nantymoel and Llantwit Fardre had 3 games in hand and one win from either of them would be enough to send Croesy down.

Llantwit Fardre lost their  first two games but won their final match to take them above Croesy, although this meant they also went down.  Nantymoel won two of their three games to take them above Llanwit and to safety.

It is assumed that Croesy will play in Division Three East next season although this is still to be confirmed by the WRU. If this is the case supporters can look forward to some mouthwatering local derbies including Cwmbran, Pontypool Utd, Garndiffaith, Abergavenny and Newport High School Old Boys.
