Players Reunion Friday 8th December

Plans are taking shape for the players reunion at the club on Friday 8th December and there has been lots of interest.  The main aims of the evening are (apart from the obvious of meeting old mates and having a few beers) to celebrate the club's 125th anniversary and 35 years since we (well when I say "we", I wasn't actually playing at the time) won the treble of the Pontypool Cup, Pontypool Sevens and Welsh Sevens.

All past and present players and committee are welcome. Please spread the word.

If you are a regular reader of this site but can't make it on the night we would love to hear from you.  If you have a message you would like passed on to your former team mates please send it to me using the Online Contact facility. We would particularly like to hear from any of you who are now living abroad. Send us any stories you have from your time with the club.

I am also thinking of conducting a poll on the night to find out who were the best players of each era, so if you want to contribute to this let me know who was the best forward and back during your playing time.

Finally, the club has had a new tie designed to commemorate our 125 years in existence. If you would like to order one let me know using the contact form.  It costs £5 plus postage and packing.

I look forward to seeing or hearing from you.

Regards

Colin Wilmott
