Club Mourns death of Carol Morgan
It is with great sadness that the club has to report the death of Carol Morgan, wife of Beverley Morgan the former club secretary, after a long illness. Carol and Bev are Corporate Life Members of the club and both put in tremendous service over many years. Carol will be known to many former players as the person who served up some of the best food around Saturday after Saturday for several years. The couple were also instrumental in securing the funding to put the floodlights at Woodland Road. Carol was part of the success of the club over a long time and will be sorely missed.
The funeral takes place on Wednesday 27th September at 2.00 p.m. at All Saints Church, Llanfrechfa, followed by interment in the churchyard. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu may be given to St. Anne's Hospice Support Services, St. Joseph's Hospital, Harding Avenue, Malpas, Newport, NP20 6ZE.
