Cockerels Comments 2 September 2005

All the pre-season training is over and the first competitive game is finally here where we get a chance to see how well it has gone as we travel to Crymych near Cardigan for Round 1 of the Konica Minolta Welsh Cup.

 

There have been a number of new signings during the summer including back row forward Jacob (Jake) Nash from Pontypool who starts on the bench tomorrow, Paul Hicks a no 8 from Talywain and wing Chris Haddock a Wales Deaf International from Cwmbran who makes his debut tomorrow. Also making their first team debuts are 2 former Youth Team players, open side flanker Bobby Pike and full back Richard Lewis (Shakey to his friends) who was last season's

 

Youth Team Player of the Year.
