Gwent Classic Trials & Scrambles Club
The club operates under the Amateur Motor Cycle Association Ltd. and was formed in 1995 by three local enthusiasts. Its purpose is to give riders of all abilities the chance to ride and compete regularly in classic style trials and scrambles events.
Grey beards & Whippersnappers
Current activities predominantly centre around trials and despite it’s name the club encourages riders of range of different types of machines including trail bikes and even some modern trials bikes. Over time the club has established a number of good quality trials venues throughout Gwent and runs around eleven trials a year. The courses are set to accommodate mixed abilities, with the emphasis on fun and friendly competition rather than extreme hazards.
Want to know more?
The club meets on the first Wednesday in every month at the New Panteg Rugby Club. We are financially sound and our membership has grown steadily, however we are still keen to attract new people to the sport or to encourage the old and frail out of retirement! Club membership is a very modest £10 per annum and this gives you a discounted entry at every trial.
