Master Jo Draper founded the Welsh W.T.F. Taekwondo Association, and is a 4th Dan in Taekwondo, which she has been practising for over 25 years. She has a whole host of achievements under her belt, the most noticeable of which was representing the United Kingdom in competition for over 12 years. Following motherhood in 1998 and 2002, she retired from competition and now focuses upon teaching, orientating a strong team of instructors who run a number of classes for children, juniors and seniors. Emphasis is placed not only physical training, but mental development and the acquisition of life skills as well. The Association has grown from strength to strength, and despite it's professional approach, still holds fun and enjoyment as the most important factors in Taekwondo participation.

"The benefits of Taekwondo are boundless, it not only instils discipline and raises confidence, it encourages people of all ages and different levels of physical ability to set their own target and achieve them. Indeed Taekwondo will empower you to achieve whatever you set your mind to".
