Beginner Details
The first lesson is free, and every new student is welcome to come along and join in for a lesson to see if it is what they are looking for.
For the first few session students should wear comfy loose fitting clothes. Classes are conducted on a fully matted area and take place in bare feet, so no foot wear is required.
After two weeks each student will be required to purchase a licence, this costs £20.00 and a passport photograph is required. This provides full insurance under the British Taekwondo Council. This will require renewal on a yearly basis.
Students will be expected were possible to purchase equipment over the next 6 months following commencement of training.
Every new student for the price of £5 will be issued with a handbook, which lists the requirements for each grading together with a code of conduct that each student is expected to follow.
