April 2006 -TRIP TO THE RIVER EBRO, SPAIN
What a weeks fishing!!!! if anyone said a few weeks ago that i would be using 100lb braid catching cat fish the same size as me i would have laughed and thought they had drunk too much beer! but it was true.
5 days, 28 Cat's and a P.B of 127lb that i had to go after in our tiny boat.
What a week. The biggest Cat was 140lb, Caught by Grant (the French) De-st-Crois.
In total between 9 of us we managed to land 18 fish over the magic 100lb mark.
As bait we were using 5 Hair rigged 22mm pelletts on a size -04 hook and we were managing to get through a sack full between 3 people a day.
If you ain't tried it then you gotta have a go it was Awesome!! Iwent for my Stag and loved every minute of it. What more do you want than fishing, drinking beer all day and catching a sun tan.
