Garndiffaith Bowls Club

About Us

We are a small but friendly Bowls Club that was formed in 1926 and is situated in the old mining village of Garndiffaith at the Welfare Ground which is just north of Pontypool Torfaen, South Wales UK.

Our membership consists of a Ladies Section, Mens Section, and a Youth Section.

The Green is in the Welfare Ground which is behind Hillcrest and opposite Severn View.Post Code NP4 7BD See the Location page for directions.

The car park is opposite Severn View next to a row of garages up the ramp.

We have bowls facilities that are for all groups to participate in especially youth and disabled people.

Throughout the summer we play outdoors, and in the winter we play indoors on two new short mat rinks.

Cost of Club membership is £12 for Adults and £2 for the youth which is renewed annually. All fees to be paid to the Treasurer at the AGM.

A season ticket has to be obtained from The Secretary.

The Green fees for 2012 are £18 Adults, £18 Senior Citizens and youth. These fees allow you to use the facilities at all TCBC Bowling Greens in the Eastern Valley.
