Jeremy Procter of Procter Bros South Wales - provided paint for our old container and provided a new container in 2013 to store our carriages and equipment. He has also assisted us with emergency repairs. In 2016 they helped us out by giving us a fine new display stand.

Cwmbran Vale Rotary built us a shelter which has become the viewing platform, as well as helping with fund raising and installing our new container in 2013.

2014/2015 - Sport Wales Development Grant has funded our restoration work on the Paddock.

2014/2015 - Big Lottery Fund - Award for All has provided funds for us and Greenwellies to have a Cabin where we can give tuition in the dry.

2014 - Daily Telegraph Award through RDA provided funds to help us to expand our services with training for another driving pony, qualification of new RDA Whips to teach our drivers, and a trailer for our carriages.

2015 - Sport Wales Community Grant towards equipment.

2015 - Sainsburys Community Grant towards training.

Yama - The mining art of Sakubei Yamamoto

Description:
At the age of seven years old, Sakubei Yamamoto (1892-1984) moved with his family to the coal mines of the Chikuho region in Kyushu. He was apprenticed to a colliery blacksmith at the age of twelve, and later worked as a mine blacksmith and coalminer until the age of 63 in 1955.
