Wayne Tomlinson - Councillor for the Abersychan Ward
I hope that the community of the Abersychan Ward will find my website a very interesting and good communication tool.
I have been living at Elizabeth Row the British Talywain with my wife Erika and my daughter Natalie for over 21 years. I was employed by TRW Automotive for 31 years and I now work for Showsec at the C.I.A. in Cardiff.
I was elected as an Independent Community Councillor for the Abersychan ward back in 2004. Then in May 2008 I stood in the council elections for the Abersychan Ward as an Independent candidate and was elected to serve has one of the Torfaen Borough Councillors .
Since being elected I have found the whole experience of council very interesting. To be at the heart of decision making, on planning the environment and other important issues which matter to us as a Community.
