Darth Vader Invades Newport Market!
Last Saturday 6th October, braving a pile of autumn leaves piled up against my cave entrance, I went to Newport to attend the Annual Hermit's Conference under the flyover by Sainsbury's.
To my severe disappointment one Hermit turned up. He was from Andalusia and was accompanied by his goat. (not all Hermit's have pet crabs). We quickly exchanged cookie recipes and said our hasty goodbyes.
While walking through Newport on the look out for aliens I was amazed to see Darth Vader and his storm troopers invading Newport Market.
He was strutting his stuff around the market frightening the stallholders senseless and demanding "The Return of the Empire"
I said to him"You had your chance and blew it Darth Vader, Get over it!"
He sulked and walked off!!
