Although this was to be another two day event the Saturday was arranged to be a "Vintage Auction". The classic cars were not needed till the Sunday. Marquee's were erected, stalls were set up and displays arranged and exhibits polished. for the remainder of the Saturday we were parked in a field next to a heavy haulage tow truck from the Wynn's Company.
Sunday 29th. We arrived at Pandy show ground at 9.30am and shown a parking place where another 30 Classic and vintage vehicles were on display behind a security fence.. I parked next to a Ford Prefect that was first registered to the Hereford CID in the early 1950's.
Other classic cars that attended this show was a well restored Daimler Dart.
A small collection of bicycles that were dated 1946 - 1950 were also near us.
It was to be a 1950's David Brown tractor took my eye. This tractor was used for harvesting crops in market gardens and was also commissioned to be used along the Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal.
The main arena had displays of sheep dog handling and a grand display of formation tractor dancing. Later we were invited to drive our vehicles around the main arena before heading for home.
