Girling Apprentices

(born April 12th 1834) opened a factory, known as the Tom Bowling Lamp works, which manufactured lamps for ships in Little King Street a couple of miles north of Birmingham city centre. In the 1890's he moved his expanded business to Great King Street.

 

1897

Company later diversified into the manufacture of automotive parts.

A place where former employees of Girlings can reunite.
