The Girling Colette, the most successful first type calliper design throughout the world, went into production in Europe for Renault and Lancia and in Japan for Honda.
Girling Espna was formed in Pamplona, Spain.
1976
Girling purchased a foundry in Gembloux, Belgium, the Eurofoundrie.
1979
Girling established engineering presence in Troy, Michigan, USA.
