A CWMBRAN tatooist is offering a £500 reward for the successful prosecution of the theft of £5,000 worth of equipment at his shop.
Graham Owens, proprietor of Mr Buzz of Tower Ramp, Southville, says his business has been hurt since the burglary on late Saturday February 23.
While friends within the tattooing business have been able to help out with spares, he has been forced to turn away custom.
He said: "I haven't had the machines I needed for certain types of tattoos. I don't want to do a bad job so I've had to turn away customers."
He said the machines are likely to be used to make tattoos at home without sterilising equipment, which he says is highly dangerous.
"I'm very, very angry that someone could do this to a working man when there are plenty of jobs out there," he added.
