Thornhill Community Association Ltd

Community Centre

Within Thornhill we currently have Wye Court Youth Centre and Leadon Court Community Centre.

It is this community centre in Leadon Court that we hope to expand and renovate. Plans have been put forward to the Council and have been approved. Now we are trying to seek the funding to pay for the work.  We have already successfully secured part of the £980,000 we need for the renovation work and are applying to the Lottery to assist with the rest.

This expansion will mean a change to Thornhill, it will ensure ourselves and future generations have better provisions in our neighbourhood. We believe when this building is built it will bring more space for social groups, more training and courses and an expansion for the playschool that is currently held in the old building.

We will keep you up to date with any progress made.
