Communities First Thornhill

Star Group

S.T.A.R. (Steps to achieve reality) was set up by parents who realised there was a need for a group to provide links to education, family activities and professional bodies in the area.

S.T.A.R's first coffee morning was a huge success, so much so we have now made it a regular event on a Friday 10-12am at Thornhill Community Centre.

Any issues parents may be experiencing can be addressed i.e. educational, financial, social and emotional. Everybody is welcome so drop in even if its just for a tea and chat!

Anyone from any area can join the group and it is not restricted to parents as they want to increase social awareness and volunteering
