Directions

Directions from M4

  • Leave the M4 at junction 26, then at roundabout take the 1st exit onto the A4051 signposted Cwmbran
  • At Woodlands Roundabout take the 1st exit onto the A4051 signposted Cwmbran
  • At roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the A4051
  • At roundabout take the 1st exit onto Greenforge Way
  • At roundabout take the 1st exit onto Greenforge Way
  • At roundabout take the 3rd exit onto Ty Gwyn Way
  • Turn right onto Thornhill Road
  • Take second turning left onto Hafren Road (horseshoe road so do not take first turning signposted Hafren Road).
  • Turn left (opposite the bus stop) signposted Leadon Court – drive down the road past the pharmacy and the former Kingfisher Public House and follow the road to the bottom.
  • Look for the green palisade fencing.
  • We are based in Thornhill Community Centre.

Katharina create timeless vessels for contemporary interiors. Each piece is individually made from porcelain on the potter's wheel. Naïve, spontaneous pencil strokes, graphic simple patterns that create movement and direction.

Suffrage -Textiles Exhibition

Description:
Textiles celebrating 100 years of women's suffrage. An exhibition focusing on textile art and political expression to mark the Centenary of Women's Suffrage. In the early 20th Century women used skills learned at home to give voice to their political struggle; in aprons, ribbons and banners they visually propelled their call for universal suffrage to a wider audience.
