2006 Local History Journal

There are a few 2006 journals still for sale but they are running out fast. There will be no reprints

of this issue so if you are a collector or want one for your family then buy soon. The journals are on sale at local newsagents, Garn Co-op, and Pontypool Museum Remember, we have other publications for sale as well - our annual journals from 1996 onwards - £2 a copy to 2003 and £3.00 afterwards. There is also our WW2 Local Memories £6.00, Recall - Further Local Memories of WW2 £5.00, The Blenheim Bomber Crash £2.00, Talywain at War and Talywain Tales at £2.00 each. Proceeds from these last two go to local schools as prizes arising from our local history talks and WW2 The Home Front presentations we give in aiding curriculum studies.

We are exploring the possibility of having a small museum in the area. If anyone has some
