Tenby
For myself Tenby is about 120 miles away and that coupled with typical weekend expected traffic, to go there and back in a day means you can't relax and enjoy the delights of this little gem.
Ideally you need to arrive in Tenby around lunch time. There are about a dozen hotels to choose from and you can access their details easily by just typing in Tenby hotels on a search engine. Also available is B & B and a camp site. Once you have checked in to your chosen place ther is plenty to choose from food wise in the town.
Tenby is a charming mid size seaside town with loads to see other than the obvious stretch of sea side. Given the weather this is one of the finest places to visit.
We stayed at the Park hotel which is situated on the cliff top at North beach. The hotel is well run, clean, and definately worth more than its 3 star rating. With ample parking, good food, friendly staff and spectacular views this is one place well worth a visit.
Like all places I attempt to describe certain things appeal to certain people and it is not possible to list all the good and bad points. There is also the finding out for yourself factor which can be more rewarding then being spoon fed with ideas.
