Pages Updated 5th February 2013

   Hi Fellow Readers

Well were now into February, late again with the updates for Society web pages.

We the Society have had a good crowd on Sunday's and Wednesday,s not all turning up with models, including myself of late, but at least we have all had a good natter.

We have had one or two members ending up with major and minor problems with their models, I blame the cold.

So far we have had several speed controllers giving up, the last was on Sunday when Hartleys patrol boat went into reverse. On retreval of the model, after several mins, the smell was distinct. The speed controller being a plastic blob in the bottom of the hull, lucky the boat didn't catch fire.

Several of the yacht's seemed to suffer with MUD magnet problems, as the winds seem to come and go over the session with several ending up on the bank. Mind you one or two of the power models ended up the same way, probly down to to much jovial banter at lakeside.

We are now looking forward to our AGM in February along with a few awaydays we have to plan over the year. Our first organised event at lakeside will be an evening sail on the 20th or 27th of February, depending on weather. Away day visit lists up dated as far as information received to-date.

As I have mentioned before some Society activities have been down loaded on UTUBE.

Wishing our readers who are interested in what ever hobby activity they wish to follow fine weather, good health, plenty of spare time with family members that are prepared to support them with their hobby / sport, of their choice.
