       Hi fellow modellers

Well the society has attended the Bridgend and Bath and West Shows. Both shows being enjoyed by all taking part or just visiting. The active members of the society are looking forward to the next away day at the Cardiff Club open day.

Great news on the lake, it has now been opened for the General public to use. The last Sunday in April so several of the club boats once again enjoying the open water of the lake.

Several club members turned up a bit glum without models thinking that only the silt ponds being available for the club to sail on. The notification that it had been opened for public use  being posted in the local newspaper. Alas not all society members read the same, I was lucky that fellow member Len phoned me up to inform me. Next Sunday May 3rd should result in more models being sailed on the lake, with one or two more sailing models. The wind on the fist day seem to be more constant blowing from the far end of the lake. The sky line also seems to be a lot clearer than in the past on that side of the lake. All we need now is some fine weather to enjoy our hobby at the lake to the full.

Here's wishing our readers who are interested in what ever hobby activity they wish to follow fine weather, good health, plenty of spare time with family members that are prepared to support them with their hobby / sport, of their choice.
