Society's Open Sailing Day Information|

 

      The Society has now found a new venue to hold its club nights at. meetings will be on the third Monday of the month at

Coed Eva and Hollybush hall

       Due to development work at the burnt down boat house, this years open day might not be ongoing. The Society is at this present time waiting for the council to clarify the situation.

 

No update on a timetable of building work to start on replacement boat house. 

 

         On the positve side the club membership numbers are holding up and  on Sunday morning at lakeside the number of club members present result in a large number of craft being sailed.

 

         Club members who attended the Cardiff and Scenic Drifters open days reported that they all enjoyed the get together with like minded people from other clubs, renewing past friendships.

 

Our next show will be the Cwmbran Carnival, Saturday 21st June. 

.

         So heres wishing our readers who are interested in what ever hobby activity they wish to follow fine weather, good health, plenty of spare time with family members that are prepared to support you with your hobby / sport.
