History
The Linden Singers Torfaen were renamed in July 2004 from the popular Betty Eyles Singers.
The choristers are ladies who live within the County Borough of Torfaen S.Wales.
The choir make an annual tour, usually in the UK.
The choir has an extensive and varied repetoire from all aspects, classical to songs from musical theatre.
Before renaming, the choir undertook tours within Europe, including Malta, Germany, France and of course visited extensively within the United Kingdom.
The choir are now rehearsing in the practice room at The Congregational Church,Griffithstown Church School Room, Kemys Street, Griffithstown, Pontypool - Monday evening 7pm -9pm.
The choir have four new members this year and additional choristers are always welcome to watch a rehersal. There are no age limits to the membership.
