HEATHER LANGDON
ACCOMPANIST
Heather started to play the piano at the age of eight under the supervision of her grandmother. Since then music has continued to play an important part in her life. Wishing to further her musical career Heather attended Gypsy Hill College, Kingston-On-Thames, London where she studied music and qualified as a Primary School Teacher.
On return to Wales she acquired a teaching position in Pontypool and is currently Deputy Headmistress of an Infants School in the Pontypool area. She became accompanist for various musical societies. Heather is a founder member of the New Harmony Singers and has given of her time, energy and commitment unstintingly. Her musical ability and competence has been an inspiration to her fellow choir members. The rapport Heather enjoys with the musical director augurs well for the future and the combination of the two will certainly take the singers on to further success.
