Hi Gents
We will be singing Christmas carols at Tesco Pontypool store on Tuesday 18th December at 7.00pm (Start at 7.00pm - so please try and be there for 6.45pm).It is Blazer and Black trousers and we will be collecting for funds for the Choir so make every effort to attend.

Concert at Ebbw Vale Leisure Centre on Thursday 6th December - Blazer and Black trousers. Bus leaves Cwmbran at 5.45pm - if going by car please be at the leisure centre at 7.00pm for a 7.30pm start.Please make every effort to attend.
Saturday 8th December - unveiling of memorial seat at Big Pit - Blaenavon at11.00am. If you can make it please be there in Blazer and Black trousers.

After 2 very successful concerts (very close together) we now have the luxury of a few days off from practise and performances - please note that practise will resume on Tuesday 17th April at the usual time. Committee members note that there will be a meeting at the Workmen's Hall on Tuesday 10th April at 7.00pm - enjoy the break and a happy Easter to all.

Wedding at 12.00pm on Saturday at St Michael's and All Angels Church in Llantarnam (Next to the Greenhouse Public House - just past Burton's Biscuits and then through traffic lights - church and pub on the left hand side about 200yds). Please be at the church at 11.30am prompt in Blazer/Black trousers. After the wedding we will be going to Ty Ceirios nursing home in Pentrepiod (up the hill in Pontnewynydd - take the second left by the side of the Church - carry on until you cross over a railway bridge and the home is about 200yds further on on the right hand side. This is for a very important lady at the home who is celebrating her 105th birthday.

Don't forget practise starts again on Thursday 1st September as 7.30pm as usual - we are peforming at a wedding in Monmouth on Saturday 3rd September - so please be at practise if possible so that we can rehearse for the wedding songs and details of times and dress can be issued. Hi Gents
I don't know if you were in practise when Ian told us that a university graduate wanted to do an item on - I think singing in our area. The choir have been contacted by this lady and she wants to photograph and talk to the choir and this will be presented to the Museum of Wales – this is the gist of what she is going to do – I may have some items wrong . She wants to do this next Monday 15th August at 7.00pm at the Workmen's Hall. If you want to take part please be at the hall in blazer/tie and black trousers in good time. If you see anyone without access to this message could you let them know please – Ian is trying to contact everyone – but it is better to know twice.
