Founded by the late David Neale in 1975 the choir quickly grew in numbers and reputation under the secure hand of his successor, Phil Radcliffe and recorded two albums, Our music and Now and Then. In 1994 Ozzie Arnold became MD and due to his very effective talents as an arranger, the choir’s repertoire increased.
Richard Hoyle has been the choir’s MD since 2000. Having led the choir through its preparations for its anniversary year that culminated in a commemorative concert in Croydon’s parish church.
