Janes Rag Rugs
Jane Dorsett is a Cwmbran textile Artist specialising in Rag Rugs, hangings, cushions, and jewellery.
She has been making rag rugs for ten years and her interest first started when she belonged to Green Valley Quilters of Cwmbran.
This triggered an interest in another thrift craft - rag rugs!
The idea of making something new out of old clothes proved worthwhile and she has continued to teach and
travel in Wales encouraging recycling!
During the year she has visited many community groups, schools, and galleries running workshops and demonstrations.
