CENTENARY CELEBRATIONS 1907-2007
To commemorate the centenary of Ebenezer Sunday School a week of celebrations was held starting Monday June 18th to sunday June 24th.
A flower festival was held in the church the theme being "Music and Hymns"
Also an exhibition in the Sunday School where photographs and memorabilia from past members were displayed together with a range of items from the 1900s.
Blaenavon Male voice choir gave an excellent concert on the tuesday evening.
We also celebrated the 50th anniversary of the installation of the church organ .
An inspired organ recital;l was given by Mr Mario Rizzardi on the saturday evening .
The weeks celebrations closed with the Sunday School AnnIversary.
A book has been published to commemorate the centenary.
It gives details of the start of Sunday Schools in the area, Anniversaries,Recitations,Awards, Exams, Christmas activities, Women's Guild,choir, reminiscences, & Photographs.
