Lucy Pottinger 21, Vibe Model and Student from Cardiff
What are you wearing today?
My jeans are from Firetrap, they're my favourite brand. I also have a black top on from Bench, another favourite brand of mine, and my puffa jacket is from Warehouse. And I have cream boots on under my jeans for extra warmth! They're sort of Ugg-Style boots I suppose.
How would you describe your style?
Street style I suppose. I don't really dress up particularly classy for day. I'm more studenty, more casual, I suppose. I've just finished university so I'm still in student mode.
How often do you go shopping?
Well I'm going travelling in March so I'm trying to cut-back and I have calmed down a lot. But I'm having a bit of trouble kicking the habit! I probably go once a week but I don't spend more than about £60 on an outfit. I'm going to Thailand, Bali, Singapore, Fiji and Australia so I'm trying to keep my suitcase light. Everyone says the clothes are really cheap so I can get away with not taking too much - but you can't resist getting one of two special bits!
Where do you like to shop?
I go to Pussy Galore, in Cardiff, if I want something really nice to go out. Otherwise I tend to shop in Howells where they have Kookai and Warehouse. For causual wear I head for Chessmans, Legends or USC.
What's your vice?
Probably handbags. I love Gwent Stefani's label - Lamb. You can only buy them online in the UK at the moment I think, and they're a bit pricey but they're gorgeous.
And What about your Hair?
I go to a salon called Mayfair on Albany Road. I keep it quite natural looking. I do colour it slightly darker but I make sure I keep it in good condition. I use Redken shampoo and conditioner and buy lots of Sabastian hair products.
Do you feel preassure to wear much make-up as a model?
No I try not to if I can help it - just to keep my skin clear. But I do of course wear it for shoots and also if I'm going out. I love Mac and Benefit products.
Do you have a style icon?
I love Gwen Stefani's style and also Fergie from Black Eyed Peas. They're both women who have strong, individual senses of style and both aren't afraid to experiment. I can't stand middle-of-the-road.
